With over two billion active users on Facebook, it sounds like a great place to get people in front of your offer, right? With those kind of numbers there’s gotta be tons of people on Facebook who are interested in what you are selling. Then why can’t you seem to find them? What to post to get sales?

This is a HUGE problem for so many people trying to build a business online. But I’m gonna teach you what to post to get sales.

So people make posts....

So, whether you’re posting on your personal profile, in groups, using your business page, or even running ads, the story is often the same. People just aren’t responding to your posts. Sound familiar?

Well, the good news is that with a little practice, you can completely turn this around. And whether it’s a physical product, digital product, service or opportunity, it all works the same.

So what’s the deal?

Well, one of the biggest problems that people have is that they’re just trying to push their stuff on people.

They’re trying to sell instead of marketing their offer.

Selling is focused on the seller and your need to make money. It also focuses on what the offer is and not what it does to help people.

People love to buy,

love to buy

....but they hate feeling sold.

It’s a total turn-off for people. I mean, just think about this. Have you ever uttered the phrase, "nope, just looking, thanks," to a salesman when you’re walking through a store and they ask you if they can help you find something.

Well in reality you’re actually looking to buy something, but you know exactly what you want and you don’t wanna be pushed into something else or any additional purchases. So you simply tell them, no, I’m just looking.

I’ve done it. I cannot even tell you how many times. So we do it ourselves. We like, maybe even love to buy, but we HATE feeling sold.

Now let’s look at some examples of these pushy posts you can find on social media.

OR,

I’m throwing a party and I need three more orders. Who’s looking for a new tote?

OR,

Need to host three more parties this month. Who’s in?

These posts are focused on YOU, the seller and your needs. Plus, they don’t show the benefit of the offer.

Instead, they just tell people what it is or what they as the seller are needing. You will usually have next to no engagement on these types of posts and virtually no one reaching out to you in response to that who are really willing to buy or take a look at what you’re doing.

Actual marketing, on the other hand, is focused on the customer, their problems, desires, their needs, and how your offer can help and SERVE them. So let’s look at the reverse. Some examples of what to post to get sales.

Now, this will take a bit of practice to get good at, but you’re gonna need to be really clear on 2 things in order to do it well.

Number one, what does your product, service, or opportunity do for people? What’s its benefits?

And number two, who is your perfect customer?

Once you fully understand both of these, you are able to talk about the benefits of your offer in a language that speaks very strongly to your perfect customer, and that is great and deadly effective marketing.

So if your product provides energy for people and your perfect customer, maybe they’re exhausted moms, who are juggling all the demands of life, then you could create a compelling post like this:

Just exhausted? Does your perfect day involve a nap or going to bed right after you put the kids down? How would you like to be able to make it through each nap without a nap and still be beaming with energy for some adult time after you put the kids to bed? No, not a fantasy!! Now that is a message that speaks really loudly to all of those exhausted moms, who are ready to do something about it, people who are READY for your offer.
