So, exactly who is Suzanne Perkins M?
Aside from the great success I've accomplished in my own online marketing business, I've coached and trained others on how to leverage the power of social media to generate leads, get sales, and make money from home.
I've trained others, both from behind my computer and one-on-one coaching, on how to build a successful online business, working to fulfill my mission of helping other families create their time AND financial freedom, building an online business, & making real money.
But back in June of 2018 when I first started my home business, things were very different...
My story starts the same as most other business owners, thinking that success would come a lot faster and easier than it actually did, and my results fell hopelessly short of my expectations.
Unlike a lot of people I had a very encouraging family and friends, but in spite of that I found myself hitting brick walls with my business. I knew that I would have to learn some new skills in order to be successful, especially online. I immediately invested into myself and my business. I knew I did not want to chase after leads and sales, whether it was online or off. I had done that in the past and knew that did not work for me. And, when you chase people you are ending up with those who really have no interest in what you are marketing.
And while I was experiencing some success with those strategies, it just wasn’t the way I wanted to build my business or live my life. I didn't want to always be hustling for the next sale and ultimately still just trading time for money.
I knew that there must be a better way – a more leveraged way – to build my business online.
And that’s when I decided to learn actual MARKETING by making that investment I spoke of above.
Prior to this, I had built a website and I had ran a couple of blogs or should I say started the blogs. I had not really used Twitter or Instagram. I had an account on LinkedIn but didn't really utilize it. I had NEVER uploaded a video to YouTube and I had certainly never run paid advertising on the internet.
But within a few short months, I had absorbed every bit of training I could get my hands on for those subjects and more.
And then I took massive action.
First learning how to create a "brand" and define my target audience. Then, how to attract them to me instead of chasing after them. I also learned how to create and frame an offer that had them excited and happy to buy.
Whenever I had any kind of new success (whether it was generating 1 lead a day, getting our first phone number, getting our first sale or client, etc), I made a point to always look for ways to improve or expand upon what I had accomplished or learned while doing my very best to master one area of marketing before moving onto a new area of marketing, trying to avoid what is referred to as ‘shiny object syndrome’.
As Bruce Lee once said, “I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.”

There is no more effective way of achieving a high level of success than to connect with the people who are getting the results that you want in your business and to network with them. Surround yourself with skilled leaders who have succeeded. You become like those with whom you associate.
Had it not been for the help of other leaders in this industry that I have had the honor of working with and learning from, I would not be where I am today. Every major breakthrough in my business came directly from personally connecting with and learning from my industry's top leaders.
I learned that when you network with leaders, what will happen is that you will grow into a leader. Because that’s what leaders do – they create other leaders.
And once you take on the mindset of an entrepreneur and a leader, THAT is when your business will gain major momentum and you will see a huge flow of leads, sales, and begin to make money with your online business. But you need to change your mindset first. Start thinking and acting like a successful business owner first, and then the success will come.
